Day Two

Enjoy a morning taking in the sights of Amsterdam on our included canal cruise along the city’s pretty waterways. Re-board Olympia during the afternoon before she begins her journey through beautiful windmill-dotted landscapes.

Day Three

A leisurely day sees Olympia cruise upriver into Germany. Relax on board and enjoy the beautiful scenery as we pass historic Dusseldorf before reaching Cologne. Step ashore this evening to explore the lively old town and discover its bustling night-time atmosphere.

Day Four

See the sights of Cologne, including the magnificent cathedral, on this morning’s optional walking tour, before re-joining Olympia for her afternoon cruise. We’ll sail past the rolling Siebengebirge hills and leafy Bonn, and enjoy magnificent views of majestic Ehrenbreitstein Fortress as we arrive in the ancient city of Koblenz.

Day Five

Olympia sails into the magnificent Middle Rhine today, through a beautiful landscape of vineyards, castles and quaint villages. Look out for fabled Lorelei rock above the Rhine Gorge as we sail towards the wine town of Rudesheim, where you’ll have the chance to step ashore and explore. Stroll along the famous Drosselgasse, and join our optional excursion to visit Siegfried’s Musikkabinett, travel on the local ‘Winzer Express’ train and enjoy a wine tasting.

Day Six

After a morning’s scenic cruising, Olympia calls at Mannheim, from where you can join an optional excursion to beautiful Heidelberg on the wooded south bank of the Neckar. One of Germany’s ‘must-see’ destinations, Heidelberg has inspired poets and operetta composers for centuries.

You’ll rejoin Olympia in Speyer, and have the opportunity to take a stroll through its impressive Baroque old town after dinner.

Day Seven

Olympia moors close to the beautiful Alsace capital of Strasbourg, today. From here, an optional excursion into the heart of Switzerland offers the chance to visit the beautiful lakeside city of Lucerne, with its restored wooden ‘Chapel Bridge’.
